Give Me a MoMA: Savannah

Last March, my girlfriend and I ventured to Savannah, GA on brief road trip with one goal, in mind–check out an Arsham exhibit in-person. If I made a list entitled “Top 5 Most Intriguing People in the World,” Daniel Arsham would top the list. He is an uber talented painter, sculptor, cinematographer, photographer and, quite simply, a genius. In March, he installed a special exhibit, The Future Was Then, at the Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD) Museum of Art. The Museum boasted an impressive collection of modern art and it will always hold a special place in my heart because it is where I came face-to-face with an “Arsham” for the first time.
