Impolitely Correct

How inconvenient is my blackness?
I am a reminder of your immorality,
staining the fabric of your conscience.
Black, sin black.

Therefore you hate me
and disregard my humanity,
for my skin is sin.
Black, nigger black.

Surely, my demise is your penance,
and my mortality shall
resurrect your morality.
Black, wretched black.

Rid me of my unholy
in your corrupt temple,
and silence my existence.
Black, plague black.

Purge, purge, purge!
rage, rage, rage!
for how inconvenient is my blackness,
for both you and for me.
